Shark Deployment Float or Crab Trap Float

  • 15ft coated stainless steel cable

  • 5" x 11" buoy float

  • 2" reflective tape strip

  • Stainless steel carabiner for kayak attachment or hanging up

  • Stainless steel long line clip to attach to deployment leader or trap

  • Check out The Basics setion for the “How to” on setting this float up. Also a video on our TikTok

Kayak or Jet Ski your shark deployments as you normally do. When dropping your bait, use the long line clip on the float to attach to your shark deployment leader just below the swivel connection. This float will allow you to see your bait drop location and if the line moves. This float is extremely useful if you want to change out your baits without reeling in your lines. Kayak out to the float and lift the lines out of the water to replace the bait. This is extremely helpful with the Stinger Series Shark Leaders (Sold in the Fishing Leader section). Stinger Series leaders use a stainless steel shackle to attach the bite leader to the main mono part of the leader. This allows easy bite leader replacement and bait replacement when using this float.
